Kirk Venge is the winemaker for this delicious wine and his wines from Mirror, Venge, Hunnicut, and B-Cellars are simply out of this world. This new release is 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, and 5% Cab Franc. The proprietors named the wine after their prized bull Taureau because the power and vivacious characteristics of this wine reminded them of his days on their family cattle ranch. This wine was aged in 35% new French oak which perfects this deeply intense red. Broadly ripe and complex, this wine explodes with pure blackberry and dark cherry fruits laced with licorice and shaved chocolate notes.
Fruity, almost-sweet black fruits and dark chocolate give this deep, dark wine an easy-going expression despite its full body and moderate tannins. Made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
