Slightly tighter, more structured and masculine, with more barbecue smoke, meat and cassis is the 2013 Pinot Noir Summit 2114, which comes from the Pfendler Vineyard on the Sonoma Coast. This wine, which is made from the Calera, Swan and Dijon clone 667, has more smokiness, tight, robust tannins, a full-bodied mouthfeel, and a youthful, exuberant personality.
