Some people say that dogs are man's best friends and in this case Turra definitely agree. 'Turra' is named after the wine producer's family dog, as they value companionship, friendship and dedication.
The word 'Turra' mean 'head-butt' - not because you'll get a headache, but rather because the family dog was named Turra as it's hair grew into it's eyes and it would often bump into things! ;-)
Vinhão, for a red grape, has unusally high acidity, and therefore is always served chilled! Meaning it pairs very well with strong, fatty foods, and is therefore our new best friend whenever grilled and roasted meats are involved!
