95% Zinfandel and 5% Petite Sirah. Aromas and flavors of blackberry compote, crushed toasted walnut, violet, sassafras and sweet earthen spice with notes of cola berry. Firm mountain‐tannins (makes sense for Rockpile Ridge Vineyard given the terrain), plus acidity to keep it lively, rather than flabby. The finish is dry and nicely sustained.
