Very fresh and beautifully layered aromas of green fruit, just peeled citrus, including orange and clementine, are trimmed in hints of mineral reduction. The middle weight flavors are almost painful in their intensity with a strikingly textured texture that is in keeping with the focused, delineated and stony finale. This youthfully austere effort could also benefit from a bit more depth but like the Caillerets, historically this wine has aged beautifully.
