2023 Harper Voit Surlie Pinot Blanc – Willamette Valley, Oregon
Crafted by Drew Voit, this Pinot Blanc is sourced from the Meredith Mitchell Vineyard, nestled in the foothills of the Coast Range near McMinnville, Oregon. The vineyard's elevation of 450–650 feet and soils of uplifted marine sediments over fractured basalt contribute to the wine's complexity. Aging in large-format French oak barrels (300–500 liters) for 9–10 months on the lees, without malolactic fermentation or bâtonnage, imparts a Burgundian-inspired richness and texture.

Palate: Opulent yet balanced, with fleshy fruit and stony acidity that cuts through, providing structure.

Helmed by owner and winemaker Drew Voit and Winemaker Jessica West, Harper Voit is a small and dedicated team of four people driven by the guiding principle of intentionality. Drew founded Harper Voit in 2009 after spending more than 15 years meticulously learning the rules of winemaking. Jessica joined the Harper Voit team in 2014 as Assistant Winemaker. Since then, Drew and Jessica have honed their craft together and today share co-Winemaker and business operations responsibilities.
