The Gremillet NV Selection Brut is a blend of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay from the Aube region. James Suckling described it as a "most attractive Champagne that marries freshness with mature richness on the ample, yet crisp palate that pulls you back in for more."
Once you pour this lovely Champagne into your glass, you'll notice its fine, persistent bubbles dancing in a bright, sunshine-pale gold hue. It’s bright, luminous, and refreshing! The nose offers a lively mix of fruit and floral notes—peach, pear, acacia, hawthorn flowers, and a hint of happiness. On the palate, you'll find these flavors with added notes of lemon curd, toasted spice, crushed flint, and a touch of biscuit softness, leading to a rich, delectable, and long finish.
A most attractive Champagne that marries freshness with mature richness on the ample, yet crisp palate. Stacks of berry fruit and some mandarin orange. Long, harmoniously dry finish with a wonderful brightness that pulls you back for more.
Hints of toasted brioche, creme de cassis and preserved lemon are carried on the creamy mousse of this bright and balanced Champagne. Smoky finish. Drink now.
This is the nonvintage cuvée from this family company in the Aube region. It has perfumed white fruits with a ripe and lightly structured feel from the Pinot Noir in the blend. It is a very accessible Champagne that is ready to drink.
