Goldeneye is the Anderson Valley Pinot Noir label from Duckhorn. The Goldeneye North Coast Brut Rose is made from a blend of mostly Pinot Noir with Chardonnay and a bit of Pinot Meunier that comes from the producer's vineyards in Sonoma and Mendocino. This bubbly is made in the traditional "Method Champenoise" with the secondary fermentation done in the bottle just like Champagne. That ensures pristine texture and a fine bead of bubbles. This beauty was aged a FULL 26 MONTHS ON THE LEES which gives this strikingly vibrant and pure Rose plenty of depth and the perfect hint of brioche and toast! Bursting with strawberry and citrus-tinged cherry notes over hints of peach and crisp red apple, this wine is deeply intense but wonderfully dynamic on the palate with a gorgeous vein of chalky minerals to make any Champagne fan smile! This wine is gorgeously balanced and dry with hints of pink flowers in the nose and a surging finish that is lip-smacking, fresh, and fabulously pure.
