100% Syrah from vines that range between ~10-60 years old planted on clay and limestone soils; hand-harvested, indigenous yeast fermentation (2-3 weeks in concrete vats), then aged ~12 months with a portion in barrel and remainder in vats/large format/concrete.
This 2022 vintage captures a refined expression of Crozes-Hermitage: abundant dark-berry fruit (black cherry, blackberry) supported by savoury Rhône contours of black pepper, olive tapenade, subtle bacon/char notes and mineral lift. The palate is concentrated but accessible, with well-coated tannins and a finish that lingers comfortably.
