Roger & Didier Raimbault have been growing grapes in Sancerre for ten generations. They have the trifecta of experience, technical skill, and terroir that allows them to craft exceptional wines year after year. The estate is located in Verdigny in the heart of Sancerre with two vineyards, Les Terres Blanches and Les Caillottes. The white wines are consistently fresh, fruity, and elegant, just like Sancerre should be.
The 2023 La Raimbauderie Sancerre is the right amount of rich and powerful with a persistent mineral finish. Your glass will be full of melon, quince, lemon rind, apple, white flowers, flint, and blackcurrant leaf. The acidity is lively and it's such a nice refreshing sip every time. This pairs great for seafood, fish tacos, salad with beets and goat cheese, charcuterie for dinner, and maybe just popcorn and movie night.
