Domaine de Bila-Haut Description

100% Syrah; among the first planted in the “department” and above all among the rare few to be grown using the Goblet pruning method with individual stakes.

TASTING:

Colour: deep, sustained, purplish highlights. Nose: complex and intense; graphite with notes of ink, raspberry and cistus flower. Palate: delicate on entry, growing steadily denser, without aggressiveness, lovely tight tannins. Firm, long lingering, finish; superb violet and white pepper olfactory after-taste. Recommended food pairing: shoulder of wild boar in spices. Serving temperature: 17-18°C. Sommelier’s recommendation: we recommend to decant this wine. Ageing potential: over 10 years.
