The stunning 2020 Domaine Faiveley Montagny Blanc which is made up of a single vineyard plot of Chardonnay that sits at about 400 meters of elevation on amazingly stony clay and marl soils that make for a vibrant, wonderfully vivacious and utterly delicious white that is impossible to resist. Loaded with green apple, crisp pear fruit, and lip-smacking citrus with a filagree of beautiful minerality and zest that has you reaching for another glass before you know it!
Bottled with technical corks, the 2020 Montagny offers up scents of crisp white peach, spring flowers, freshly baked bread and honeysuckle. Medium to full-bodied, lively and layered, it's unusually chiseled and concentrated this year, standing out as the best communal Montagny I've ever tasted from Faiveley.
