The 2006 Dancing Hares is an intriguing blend of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, and 17% Cabernet Franc. This wine displays chocolatey, sweet, smoked herb, plum, black cherry, and currant notes, a nice, fleshy mouthfeel, low acidity, and sweet tannin. It is an attractive wine that avoids the rustic tannins that some 2006 Bordeaux varietals have.
