After years of disrepair, the Rothschild family purchased the Paradis Casseuil estate in the 1980's and renovated it to the family's exacting standards. The name of the Chateau comes from the main vineyard parcel, named 'the Vines of Paradis' in the commune of Casseuil in Bordeaux. 70% Merlot,, 27% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Cabernet Franc, this easy-going blend is bottled with no new oak and released young to be enjoyed immediately.
Freshness is key in the wines of Paradis Casseuil, and they strike a balance of bright red fruit and earthy spice. redcurrant and raspberry, with deeper notes of plum, the wine has a peppery, leafy note and darker tones of tobacco and anise. Velvety and medium bodied, this is an everyday drinking Bordeaux with the historic Rothschild Family legacy.
