A great emblematic cuvée that has represented the very spirit of our house Charlier & Fils since 1962. The Carte Noire incorporates all the diversity of our grape varieties, particularly Pinot Meunier for its fruitiness, and all the richness of our Marne Valley terroir, to reveal the full complexity that characterises it. The bouquet is refined and precise. The nose reveals white-fleshed fruit (apple, white peach) joined by spicy nuances. On the palate, the attack is straightforward with an elongated structure that embodies the balance of this champagne. Carte Noire Brut is ideal as an aperitif or for a long, festive evening. It will enhance the simplest dishes. We recommend it with starters, fish, pies, poultry, white and light meats.
