A biodynamic expression from small grower producer Guillaume Marteaux in the Vallée de la Marne, L’Indigène Extra Brut highlights the depth and character of Pinot Meunier from organically farmed vineyards. The wine is composed of 100% Pinot Meunier, with approximately 60–70% from a single vintage and the remainder drawn from solera aged reserve wines, lending complexity and continuity to the blend.
Fermented with native yeasts and aged for six years on the lees, this Champagne opens with fine, persistent bubbles and a luminous golden hue with subtle copper highlights. Aromas unfold gradually, revealing ripe orchard fruit, citrus peel, and delicate almond notes. The palate is textured yet precise, balancing generous fruit with mineral tension and a long, refined finish that reflects both patience in élevage and a strong sense of place.
