This rare wine of the vintage 1900 was produced by Antonio Borges, owner of Quinta do Junco and the Borges & Irmao Bank. The wine was kept in cask until 1947 when he had the wine bottled at the Company's cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia, and reserved for the personal enjoyment of the Borges family. On the death of Antonio Borges the wine was divided amongst his three daughters. This bottle is from the remaining part of one of these parcels that has now become available from Antionio Borges' descendants. This wine has not previously been offered for commercial sale.
