The 2023 Atalier by Raúl Pérez 'A Cruz Das Animas' Albariño opens with lifted aromas of white flowers, lemon peel, and grapefruit, underscored by a distinct coastal salinity and crushed stone minerality. On the palate, it’s vibrant and precise, layering flavors of ripe citrus, green apple, nectarine, and a touch of honeydew melon, all driven by bright, mouthwatering acidity. Subtle lees influence adds texture and depth without weighing the wine down, while the Atlantic influence shows up as a refreshing, briny lift that carries through the finish. Clean, focused, and energetic, this is Albariño with both tension and finesse, leaving a long, mineral-driven finish that begs for another sip.
It leaps out of the glass with aromas of oyster shell and granite, and follows through with a palate rich in yellow and green fruits with a powerful surge of acidity.
The 2023 Atalier A Cruz das Ánimas is very clean, lively and high-pitched with notes of white flowers and fruit, with purity, balance and precision. It has 13% alcohol and integrated acidity.
