With every sip the tequilia tells the story of its maturity through hints of dried wood, cinnamon, rose petals and vanilla. It is a remarkably refined experience worth every minute, day and month until its arrival in your glass.
The initial nosing passes find resiny, textile-like notes; following aeration time an oaky sweetness emerges in the aromatic form of malted milk and pastry dough. Entry is slightly fat, with an oaky creaminess; the midpalate offers earthy tastes of egg cream, peppery spice, jalape?o pepper, dill leaf and nutmeg. Concludes on an off-dry note that?s nicely peppery and woody. Score: 90-95. February 01, 2009.
