Made by Maestro Mezcalero Onofre Ortíz Ortíz in Bramaderos, Miahuatlán, Oaxaca, a fifth-generation agave farmer committed to traditional methods. Produced from 100% Espadín (Agave angustifolia). The agave is cooked in a traditional oak-fired conical stone oven, then milled by axe, machete, and small mechanical grinder. Fermentation occurs in cypress wood tinas using ambient yeast and well water. It is then double-distilled in copper alembic pot stills.
Herbaceous, floral, dry, with tropical fruit and subtle spice notes. A clear, sophisticated expression of terroir-rooted mezcal.
