The name itself is a nod to that heritage: “Blade” referencing the two parts of a skeleton key, and “Bow” the ornate handle—together symbolizing both craftsmanship and the keys that once opened the doors to the distillery.

A portion of the blend is said to include older whiskey from the original Stitzel-Weller stocks, lending both depth and continuity to each bottle. The result is a bourbon that balances tradition with a polished, modern approach.
