A Splash of Portugal: Crisp, Zesty Vinho Verde

Join us at Meritage Wine Market as we celebrate the vibrant, refreshing wines of Vinho Verde—a region in northern Portugal known for its lively whites, crisp rosés, and bright, food-friendly style. For one night only, our tasting room will be transformed into a Portuguese escape, featuring a curated selection of Vinho Verde wines poured alongside great conversation and good company. We are partnering with the Portuguese wine importers The Vinho,  who have traveled to all corners Portugal to source these beautiful and refreshing wines.

The name "Vinho Verde," meaning "green wine," refers to the region's verdant scenery and the fresh, young nature of its wines, particularly its signature aromatic, crisp, and sometimes slightly sparkling white wines made from indigenous grapes like Alvarinho, Loureiro, and Trajadura
