Our love of White Burgundy is unequaled and we simply can't get enough of Chardonnay from France's birthplace and the king of the white grapes.. The 2021 Domaine Jomain Bourgogne Chardonnay is "Baby Puligny-Montrachet" all the way.
The Jomain Family farms some 22 acres of vines in and around the town of Puligny-Montrachet and today's wine comes from a 2.5-acre parcel of Chardonnay that was planted in 1981. The wine is made using 50% stainless steel and 50% barrels with only a small percentage of the barrels being new. This wine is wonderfully pure and crystalline, with vivid apple and Meyer lemon fruits that are crisp and juicy! There is a touch of mid-palate creaminess that brings plenty of depth to this clean and vibrant expression of Chardonnay. Hints of flinty mineral add complexity and the wine just surges with energetic orchard fruits that lead to a mouth-watering finish.
